Content Updates

ILM undertakes a variety of content development projects each publishing year, which are determined by the latest curriculum guides released by the Government of Alberta. To support these content development projects, ILM engages authors and validators, from Alberta’s industry groups and training institutions, to create updated content for the modules we publish.

Once Alberta Apprentifceship and Industry Training (AIT) updates the provincial curriculum guide for a particular trade, ILM's content development process of re-aligning our content to AIT's new guide begins. As a result, there may be a period of time where we do not yet have product available that aligns to the latest curriculum guide, and we continue to offer the existing content during this interim period.

Each year, the ILM Office publishes new versions of any products that have been updated as part of our continuous improvement process. These updates can include: corrections to errors in previously released versions, changes resulting from our Quality Assurance process, as well as the changes resulting from more extensive content development.
