Comment:
under "plastic treatments" the last sentence states "Adhesion promoters chemically etch..." which is incorrect. It should state that "Adhesion promoters modify the surface energy of the plastic substrate leading towards a chemical bond before the surface energy dissipates."

I sent a comment about the DANGER box on page 6 which states "Always wear class 00, 1000 Volt safety gloves during the depowering and powering high voltage systems", which I believe may be a typo, and perhaps Class 0 is the appropriate information instead. I included references as well. If you do end up changing the information to Class 0, 1000 Volt gloves, then Question 6 on the Self-Test on page 24 may need to be reviewed, as the correct answer of d) Class 00, 1000 V may no longer be correct, and the Self-Test Answers on page 26 may also no longer be correct.

From the DANGER box "Always wear class 00, 1000 Volt safety gloves during the depowering and powering high voltage". I believe that there may be a typo in this statement. I would respectfully request that the Class 00 be reviewed and updated to read Class 0 (only one 0 ). Class 00 gloves are rated to 500V AC / 750 V DC, while Class 0 gloves are rated to 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC. Other reference sources state Class 0 rated gloves are recommended for working on high voltage automotive electrical systems (Auto Body Repair Technology 7th edition, 2021 - Duffy - p. 765-766) and (Light Duty Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, CDX Learning Systems 2023 - Quarto, Goodnight, p.2, 3 which also includes a Table). Searching Google using terms like "high voltage gloves classification" will bring up many charts that compare and contrast the differences between Class 00 and Class 0 gloves. The module states that "the voltage of these batteries or battery packs varies between 36-800 volts (High Voltage Batteries p.4)" which would suggest that gloves rated to a maximum of 750 V would not be adequate, and would leave the technician at some risk for injury if Class 00 gloves were used instead of Class 0 gloves when working on these systems.
